New in the current build…
  • Main bugfixes
    • Males got reloaded from disk still male, yet everybody else (and the UI) thought they were female.
    • Creatures’ heads were growing crazily bigger.
    • Entities sometimes miscalculated which Zone they’re in. Fixed some Zone nesting problems.
    • Affect input wasn’t always applied to the action that most likely caused it.
    • Mushrooms no longer cause glitches on spawning (but there are other problems)
    • Things that should never have been saved to disk, now aren’t.
    • Fixed audio fade.
    • Sea is marginally less wrong. At least the waves are onshore now.
    • Creatures that fall through the ground are less likely to be lost.
    • Attention now controlled more by salience than valence.
    • Various weather fixes.
    • Sped up some startup processes.
  • New features
    • Cheats to rescue creatures and player, if they get stuck
    • Rewrote affect learning to use STM/LTM. Reinforcement is applied more accurately.
    • Made sensitization, refraction and habituation generic.
    • Upgraded to Unity V6
    • Major revamp of the UI: notebook, notelets, interactions and interactionsets, IWatchable, HUD, ORAC.
    • SRP batching support, GPU-resident drawer, and GPU-based occlusion culling.
    • Changed trees to be more batchable.
    • Last-minute shift to having a 3D first-person avatar!
